Thomas Driemeyer – Bicycle Guide

“I often get asked about bicycle maintenance and repairs, and tips for how to ride efficiently. This little manual is intended as a summary of what I have learned over the years. I am not a professional mechanic.

Thomas Driemeyer – Bicycle Guide

All of what I say here is the result of personal experience and opinion and may in places flatly contradict professional techniques, but it has served me well. I offer no guarantees that it will work for you. If your bicycle falls apart because I said something wrong, you are on your own.” – Thomas Driemeyer .

Computer-controlled LED lamp

This page shows how to build a lamp using this module that can be programmed to show any color or cycle of colors, as instructed by a PC or Mac over a serial RS232 line. (Or USB, using a cheap USB-to-serial adapter – unfortunately USB cables cannot be longer than about two meters before they become either unreliable or very expensive.)

DSO Nano – Digital Storage Oscilloscope

DSO Nano v2 is an Open Source Portable and lightweight Digital Storage Oscilloscop that has a Color display and is designed for basic electronic engineering tasks. Its palm size and handy features make it great for in-field diagnosis, quick measurement, and hobbyist projects. Schematics and source code files are also openly available for re-innovating.

Features – Waveform storage and playback, 6 triggering modes, 200Khz Analog Bandwidth, Complete measurement markers and signal characteristics. Built-in Signal Generator too.

User Interface Overview – The screen is broken into a central display area and 3 operation bars around it. The menu on the top provides the most frequently-used adjustments to signal display. The status bar on the bottom provides precise measurement results and monitoring status. Adjust more advanced functions with the column of function icons on the right.

K1001 – 8 Channel Serial Servo Controller, Assembled & Tested

ozitronics servo kit

K1001 is an 8-Channel Serial Servo Controller based on the Atmel 89C2051 microcontroller. It accepts RS232 or TTL serial data from a computer or microcontroller and outputs PWM (pulse width modulated) signals to control up to eight RC servo motors (as used in radio-controlled model airplanes, cars, etc.). Unused servo pins can be reconfigured for digital output to drive on/off devices.

Up to four controllers can be multi-dropped on a single serial port for controlling up to 32 servo motors – more on request.
