Macro photography – Close-up Photography

I saw some photos of products, some images were good, some focus lost, few of them dim. Even i had lot of trouble with photographing objects. So here is a collection of resources to improve this skill of Indoor Macro photography.

Macro photography  is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects. Electronic Product Photography is a Branch of commercial photography and similar in most respects to food photography.

Macro photography

Apart from technical photography and film-based processes, where the size of the image on the negative or image sensor is the subject of discussion, the finished print or on-screen image more commonly lends a photograph its macro status.

“Macro” lenses specifically designed for close-up work, with a long barrel for close focusing and optimized for high reproduction ratios, are one of the most common tools for macro photography. (Unlike most other lens makers,

High Speed Photography – HSP

Here is a small list of photography related circuit and projects including High Speed Photography or HSP that uses Electronic Circuits to operate the Trigger or Lens Shutter.

High Speed Photography

“Many physical processes evolve on timescales shorter than the human eye can resolve. Effectively, this means the details of how the process changes with time are lost in a blur. High speed photography, or HSP, is simply photography with extremely short exposure times,….

….All control systems can be classified into one of two broad types – Open Loop and Closed Loop. The difference between them is the use of feedback via input signal. For the DIY high speed photographer, the difference equates to reliability, expense and simple electronics. ”

Lightning Activated Camera Shutter Trigger

This circuit is used to trigger a camera’s electronic shutter circuit when a flash of lightning is present. This circuit would also work for photographing fireworks displays or other events involving flashes of light.

Darkroom Camera Shutter Timer

This circuit was designed to control a film exposure shutter for a darkroom. It has 8 time steps ranging from 0.35 seconds to 4 seconds

Motorized Video Camera Mount

This article describes a motorized, waterproof mount for a miniature video camera. If a suitable waterproof camera is used, this unit can be used outdoors.

Electronic DIY Projects from Dago

Kalle Hyvönen an electronics enthusiast from Finland has made many interesting. In childhood dismantling of all kinds of electronic devices was his main occupation. That is what makes him a Wizard Today.
